We recently had the pleasure of working with Wild Huts to create two single-storey cabins for our new office site, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional, and the outcome exceeded our expectations.
The cabins, crafted entirely from reclaimed cedar wood sourced from Wales, have a rustic charm that blends perfectly with our natural surroundings and the meadow opposite our site. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the design, from the quirky engineering touches like old valves repurposed as coat hooks to the sleek, black kitchen units and worktops that offer a modern, sophisticated touch.

The outdoor area is a true masterpiece. Wild Huts designed a cosy firepit in the centre, complemented by a soothing water feature that creates a relaxing atmosphere for our team. The ample seating space around the firepit has become a favourite spot for informal meetings and team gatherings throughout the day.
Wild Huts’ dedication to sustainability and innovative design shines through in every element of our new site. Their ability to blend functionality with creativity has provided us with office spaces and meeting rooms that inspire productivity and creativity. We are incredibly grateful for their hard work and vision.
If you are considering a unique and sustainable building project, we wholeheartedly recommend Wild Huts.
After a pottery course in Cornwall, I decided that I wanted to pursue pottery and needed an at-home studio. I looked at different sheds and other options before I stumbled across Wild Huts. The beautiful huts quickly convinced me that I had found exactly what I was looking for!
I needed a dedicated space for pottery and the team at Wild Huts did an amazing job adapting an existing hut to make it fit my requirements. They added shelving, a lovely Belfast sink and even slate-panelled section for my kiln.
The hut is absolutely perfect and it’s a joy to work in! The fact it’s so well insulated means I can work there all year round!
We needed additional accommodation at our home for family and friends to stay in which blended into the surroundings, looked good and was self contained. Wild Huts have provided us with a beautiful shepherds’ hut that can be used all year round. The quality of finishes are excellent, there’s plenty of storage under the bed for guests along with an outside shower with eco friendly loo.
From initial contact to siting the hut, we found our experience of dealing with Caron and the team really professional, helpful and competitively priced. All our friends want to come and stay now!

The shepherd’s huts built by Wild Huts are unique in their style and design which is what initially attracted us. The quality of finish is high and we have been delighted with the level of service provided by Caron and her team who have used their experience of running a glamping operation to build well-thought-through accommodation.

We happened to be staying at Wild Carrot when they had a shepherd’s hut waiting to be placed on the estate. We had thought about this as an additional revenue stream but didn’t think this was logistically possible as access is narrow and extremely hilly.
After a site visit by Karl and Mark to an overgrown corner of our paddock, we were delighted to hear that siting the hut was not an issue and we learned that landscaping work could also be undertaken.
We had meetings to discuss our requirements, agree on colours, designs and styles with Caron and appreciated some helpful suggestions to maximise the space as well as landscaping options to screen the hut from the house whilst ensuring it was in keeping with our existing garden designs.

We now have a beautiful, secluded hut which our guests love along with a landscaped paddock that we can enjoy but keeps our privacy. Quality of finish and attention to detail are the two areas that we have been most impressed with.
All the team were incredibly helpful and flexible from the outset and we found the whole process seamless. Communication throughout was responsive and kept us updated on the progress which was critical as we were out of the country, returning home to a finished landscaped site and working hut.
Creating a hut and landscaping that met our requirements was more important than selling more services which we found refreshing. We strongly recommend Wild Huts and wish we had room for another one!
I’m thrilled with my shepherd’s hut, which Wild Huts were able to deliver very quickly. The service was amazing and the team were really flexible, helping us load the hut on to a barge before it arrived at its final home on an island. The hut itself is beautiful and is home for the time being, with the plan being to rent it out to guests eventually, if I can ever bring myself to leave!

We wanted a shepherd’s hut at our family home in the Cotswolds where we could escape the noise and pace of city life.
The team at Wild Huts spent time listening to what we wanted and have built us a beautiful hut which is a calming space and contains everything we need for a relaxing retreat. We are very happy with the quality of finish and the service provided throughout the whole process.

Feedback from Previous Wild Carrot Guests
All of the huts that were previously available to stay in at Wild Carrot were constructed by the Wild Huts team. Below is a selection of feedback from guests who stayed in one of these shepherd’s huts, all of which were located on a private estate in the Cotswolds.
“My husband and I stayed at a hut (Cromwell) for two nights from London. It’s majestic – you are surrounded by sheep, birds and nature, in a meticulously designed, clean and comfortable wooden cabin.”

We absolutely loved our stay in the MacMillan hut. It is even more beautiful than the pictures show with everything you could need in a completely perfect setting. We loved the log fired hot tub and fire pit in the evenings overlooking the fields.”
Sarah
“We stayed in the Cromwell Shepherds hut which was modern, clean and had the comfiest bed and was very secluded looking out onto stunning fields. We loved the wood fired hot tub and firepit which we cooked a BBQ on”
