At Wild Huts, we believe in actively contributing to our community. This month we were thrilled to lend our support, helping to redecorate the Frith Youth Centre, a vibrant space dedicated to supporting young people in the local area.
Led by our crew – Karl, Eddie, Rory, Caron, and even Blaze the dog – we rolled up our sleeves, grabbed some paintbrushes, and got to work bringing new life to the centre. With a little elbow grease (and plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits kindly supplied by Steph, who runs the centre), we managed to refresh the space.
Frith Youth Centre is an incredible organisation that offers much more than just a safe space for young people aged 9 to 17. Their mission is to empower young individuals to grow holistically through guidance, mentoring, education, and community involvement. From air hockey and music to indoor skate ramps, pool tables, and a tuck shop, the centre is a hub of activity, ensuring young people have access to fun, support, and a welcoming environment.
One of the centre’s standout features is the public bike and scooter repair station, which provides a practical resource for young people and the community. With free Wi-Fi and loads of activities on offer, Frith Youth Centre plays a key role in fostering the mental and physical well-being of local youth.
We’re incredibly proud to have been able to contribute to such an important space. It’s organisations like Frith Youth Centre that make a real difference in the lives of young people, and we were honoured to play a small part in their mission.
A huge thank you to everyone involved, especially Steph for keeping us fuelled and for the amazing work she and the team continue to do. We are incredibly grateful to have had this chance to support such a meaningful place in the community.
